Himalayan Adventure Challenges & Treks 2008

Our expertise: At 3 Challenges not only do we offer some spectacular outdoor activity challenges in the UK but also in the small Kingdom of Nepal.

For the last 5 years we have been running successful trips to Nepal taking people to the famous Everest Basecamp and Kala Patar, Goykyo Lakes, the Annapurna Circuit and undertaking ascents of Island Peak and Mera Peak.

With our well established Nepalese operations we are in a position to offer fantastic all-inclusive packages and at excellent prices.

If you are looking for that ultimate physical and mental challenge or a high profile corporate event as a charity fundraiser - contact us to discuss and we will provide a wealth of experience.

Adventure Challenges: 3 Challenges specialise in organising a wide range of treks and adventure travel itineraries throughout Nepal for both private and corporate clients.

With our extensive knowledge and experience we can create fantastic itineraries to meet the requirements of any group taking care of the entire trip so you can relax and let the experts arrange every last detail.

Whatever type of group you are give us a call today to discuss your ideas and we are confident that we will be able to turn these into a reality!

Private Groups: Himalayan Horizons are always willing to operate customized private treks and tours to any of the destinations featured in this website. You choose the dates you want to travel and our land only package will include all hotels, camping or teahouse accommodation on trek, all internal transport and flights, UK and Nepalese guides and porters, all meals and use of any our equipment. Additionally, we provide all group members with a professionally edited DVD of your trip.   Nepalese schoolchildren

Small group policy: As the remotest areas become increasingly accessible, travelling in a small group will still enable you to make genuine contact with the local people in circumstances where a larger group can be unwieldy and intrusive.

Our group size never exceeds 12 clients, which ensures that we do not overrun areas that we visit and everyone will easily get to know each other.

Often we tend to split into two groups to accommodate the pace of individual members of the group. For some of the more demanding treks group size may be limited to six members.

Charity Treks and Events: A Charity Trek or ascent of a Himalayan Trekking Peak can be a wonderfully rewarding and profitable fundraising tool for charities with the added benefit of potential media exposure which will almost certainly enhance the potential for the charity to gain further recognition. On our Charity Treks, not only do we run the trek but we also provide a build up phase prior to the trek which includes a training programme, a 'free' hillwalking weekend in the Lake District and we also offer a fundraising event using our staff and equipment at our expense to boost your funds.   Ama Dablam in the Khumbu Region nepal
