Fancy a challenge that involves a lot of abseiling? Our Everest Abseil Challenge certainly requires just that! |
| |
|
| |
The Challenge: Quite simply abseil the combined height of Mount Everest 8850 metres in a 12 hour period. Given the right venue such as a building, a bridge, cliff or rock face with good access we can usually have 4 ropes set up for allowing 4 individuals to abseil all at the same time. With good organisation on the day and enough people this challenge is achievable. Numbers can be anything from 10 people to 200 getting involved. We would recommend that ideally that there are 100 participants doing approximatley 4 abseils each and if each participant raises £100 in total then collectivley £10,000 could be raised. An amazing amount of funds for any charity.
